You use the shovel to move the snow. The way is clear to keep moving forward.\n\nThere are lights up ahead that lead to several [[cottages|Cottages]].\n\nOutside, shoveling snow, is a hard-working [[Nabi|Chil]].\n

An older-looking Nabi looks down at you from a fishing boat you completely missed in the snowstorm.\n\n"The ice is dangerous!" he says. "Just look what it did to my boat. It's frozen in place and I can't move it an inch! Now how am I supposed to fish? Get yourself back to town, and tell them Ize sent you so they'll give you a warm welcome."\n\n[[Give SAW|HelpIze]]\n\n[[==>|Town]]

Only two buildings appear to be open. The rest have their doors firmly shut against the hold.\n\nOne of them is an [[inn|Inn]], the other is the [[biggest building in the village|SamNodin]].\n\nOutside in the streets, a [[young Nabi|TinyTim]] builds a snow-Nabi.

You step carefully onto the surface of the lake. The ice creaks under you, but you keep going.\n\nSuddenly, you hear a crack.\n\n[[Turn back!|Lake]]\n\n[[Keep going.|Lake2]]

You approach the young Nabi.\n\n"Hi!" he says. "I'm Tim! Everyone calls me Tiny Tim, but I won't be tiny forever! One day I'll be big and strong, like my dad! He's a lumberjack!"\n\nHe points to his Nabi. "Everyone's sad because it's snowy, but I like it! Look, I built a snow-Nabi! As you follow the map to your destination, you spot it: a small village in the distance. It's hard to make out with the grayness making everything blend together, but you can see some twinkling lights that show where the cottages are.\n\nThere are very few Nabis out and about, and the few that you see are hurrying to get back inside.\n\n[[Time to trek down through the snow and see what's going on.|Town]]\n

You jump into the snowdrift. The snow puffs up around you in a snowy cloud. You feel something under you.\n\nYou dig around the snow with your paws and pull out a CABBAGE. Better hold onto this!\n\n[[Back|Town]]

As you enter, it's made clear that this building is the mayor's office.\n\nA Nabi sits behind a desk with their head in their paws, muttering to themselves. When they finally notice you, they jump.\n\n"Oh, my apologies, I didn't hear you come in! I'm the mayor, Sam Nodin." They frown. "I wish you could be here during a better time. This storm has brought nothing but disaster to this town. I wish I had some reminder that things aren't so hopeless..."\n\n[[Give CABBAGE|HelpSamNodin]]\n\n[[Back|Cottages]]

On the front porch of the cottage, a sad-looking Nabi sits. She perks up when she sees you.\n\n"Oh, visitors! Hello, hello, my name is Nieve!"\n\nYou ask her why she looked so sad, and her ears droop.\n\n"Oh, it's... It's my family. We don't have much wood left and they're very cold. I'm sorry, I wish I could show you more hospitality, but we don't have much right now. Enjoy the town, though, there's plenty of nice people here!"\n\n[[Give LOAD OF LUMBER|HelpNieve]]\n\n[[==>|Town]]

The path leads you to the outskirts of town towards a forest.\n\nThe path forks, with one part going [[left|LeftPath]] and the other going [[right|RighPath]].\n\nBlocking your path is a [[snowdrift|Snowdrift]].

You start to go around when you realize you're about to run into a Nabi pulling a cart full of lumber.\n\n"Watch out, bud!"\n\n[[==>|Rein]]

The town is actually very pretty up close. Although the snow is quickly piling up, there are some paths you can take.\n\nIn the middle of the street, walking against the snow and hugging himself for warmth, is a [[cold-looking Nabi|Flake]].\n\nTo your left is a short path leading up to [[a cottage|Nieve]].\n\nTo your right, a [[path|Path]] continues through the town.

You give Tiny Tim the CARROT.\n\n"Thank you, this is just what I needed!" He hands you a piece of paper. "Here, you can make a paper boat out of this!"\n\nThe paper reads:\n\nER WORLD\n\n[[==>|Town]]

You give Flake the WARM COAT.\n\nShe smiles at you. "Oh my gosh, thank you! I wish I had something to repay you, but all I have is this scrap of paper."\n\nShe hands you a piece of paper that reads:\nCH THE OPAL HEA\n\n[[Time to go tell the others.|Town]]

You go down the left path for a while, but the way is too blocked with snow to continue.\n\nBetter wait until you can get rid of this snow.\n\n[[Use the SHOVEL|ShovelPath]]\n\n[[Back|Path]]

The Litte Town

You look up to see a tall, muscular Nabi, looking at you with concern.\n\n"Be careful! You shouldn't be out here, you know. I'm Rein, by the way. I'm a lumberjack, and all this snow and grayness has made everything more dangerous. Nabis don't see me coming when I'm dragging my lumber back. I've almost ran over smaller Nabis three times now! I just wish I had something to alert others that I was coming."\n\nHe smiles at you. "But that's enough talk from me! You should get back to town, get yourself warmed up."\n\n[[Give JINGLE BELLS|HelpRein]]\n\n[[Go back to town.|Town]]

You give Nieve the LUMBER.\n\nTears well in her eyes and she gives you a crushing hug.\n\n"Thank you, thank you, thank you! I wish I could give you all the money in the world, but all I have is this piece of paper! I can't makes heads or tails of it, but you look pretty smart! You go down the right path. Despite everything, the view is beautiful.\n\nAfter walking for a few minutes, you come across a frozen lake.\n\nWhat do you do?\n\n[[Try to cross the lake.|Lake]]\n[[Go around|ReinPath]]\n[[Turn back.|Path]]

You give Cocoa the OPAL.\n\n"Enjoy!" she says, as she hands you a HOT COCOA.\n\n[[Back|Cottages]]

Determined, you keep going forward. Another loud noise, and now you can see cracks spreading across the ice under your feet.\n\nJust as the ice breaks, something pulls you away from the ice and back to land.\n\n"Are you okay?"\n\n[[==>|Ize]]

You give Ize the SAW.\n\nHe looks delighted. "Ice fishing, of course! I just need to cut a hole in the ice and I'll have my fish! Here, take this for your troubles."\n\nHe hands you an OPAL. Better hold on to this!\n\n[[==>|Town]]

"Great, it'll be one opal!" she says. "Oh, you didn't know? We use opals as currency here. It's because the land this town is built on is full of opals, and we've started trading them. I'd give you the cocoa for free, but I need to make money, too!"\n\n[[Give OPAL|HelpCocoa]]\n\n[[Back|Cottages]]
